The 2022 College/Career Measures Only Report reflects the number and percent of students who completed at least one of the measures in the California School Dashboard (Dashboard) College/Career Indicator (CCI) except for the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments. This assessment data was not available statewide as the administration of the 2021 summative assessments may not have been the most viable option for some local educational agencies (LEAs) due to COVID-19.
For a list of the current measures approved for inclusion in the CCI by the State Board of Education, along with resources, please visit the College/Career Indicator web page and refer to the CCI Reference Guide (DOCX). For more information on the CCI for the 2022 Dashboard, please refer to the College/Career Indicator flyer.
The CCI is based on students in the graduation rate. For the 2022 California School Dashboard (Dashboard), all high schools received a combined four and five year graduation rate (i.e., students in the Class of 2022 plus fifth year graduates from the Class of 2021). Therefore, for this report, the students in the combined four- and five-year graduation rate were used as the denominator to calculate the percentages. Each graduating student’s records were evaluated to determine the courses, exams, or seals that the student completed or earned during high school.
Calculation Formula Example: (Number of Students who Completed at Least One CTE Pathway) divided by (Total Number of Students in the Combined Four- and Five-Year Graduation Rate)
