This report displays graduation rates that were calculated using Dashboard rules. While this data is similar to the Four-Year Cohort data on DataQuest, the data are not comparable. For the differences between this report and the reports on DataQuest, please refer to this data crosswalk.

All county Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) and schools that serve students in grade 12 receive a combined four- and five-year graduation rate.

  • Number of Students in the Graduation Rate: The number of students in the denominator of the graduation rate.
    • For the combined four- and five-year graduation rate, the denominator includes the number of students in the Class of 2023 plus students from the Class of 2022 who graduated in their fifth year.

  • Number of Graduates: The number of students in the numerator of the graduation rate.
    • For the combined four- and five-year graduation rate, the numerator includes the number of students in the Class of 2022 who graduated with a regular high school diploma plus fifth-year graduates (see definition below).

  • Number of Fifth-Year Graduates: The fifth-year graduates who are included in the combined four- and five-year graduation rate. These are students from the Class of 2022 who graduated in their fifth year at the end of 2022-23 with a regular high school diploma.
  • Graduation Rate: The result of dividing the “Number of Graduates” by the “Number of Students in the Graduation Rate”.

Note: An asterisk (*) indicates that the student group consists of less than 11 students, the minimum size for reporting.
